Frequently asked questions

  • There is no heat demand: increase the temperature on the room thermostat.
  • Thermostat valves are closed: open them.

  • There is contamination in the system.
  • The distributor is connected with a pipe that is too small and is therefore supplied with too few litres. Preference is given to a minimum of 22mm central heating pipe or 25/26mm Alu-pex pipe.
  • If necessary, close radiators and have your installation adjusted by your installer.
  • There is air in the floor heating pipes.
  • The underfloor heating installation is not properly adjusted.
  • The pump is not running.
  • There is an electrical problem, such as a defective thermostat, motor or empty battery (with a wireless thermostat).

  • There is a fault with the heat source.
  • There is air in the main lines.
  • There is not enough water pressure from the heat source to the distributor.
  • There is no heat demand from the main thermostat.

  • The thermostat setting is too high: turn it down.
  • The white thermostat knob is set too high (+45°C): turn it down.
  • The valves are not adjusted.

  • There is air in the circuit. The installation must be vented.
  • The pump has run dry due to no or too little water (pressure).
  • The pump is running at too high a speed.

The thermostat knob (white) is locked. Unlock it by pushing the ring backwards. The thermostat can be rotated as desired. Consult with your supplier which temperature is recommended for your floor. Usually between 35 and 40 ° C degrees.

The supply (bottom bar) of the temperature is higher than the return (top bar). Contact your installer if the difference is greater than 5 to 10 ºC.
